A craft distilled Brandy that will surprise you from the first sip. With its 44.4% vol. of alcohol, its initial strength will impress you, but its complexity will reveal itself little by little, allowing you to enjoy the subtle hints, which the wood of the barrel has given it for almost 4 years, vibrating with the music of “La Otra Mitad” album by REFREE .
REFREE’s music has contributed to create a Brandy with unique nuances that make it very different from other Brandies.
SOUNDCASK Craft Spirits is a concept that fuses music and craft distilling in a respectful and responsible way.
We produce small batches of very limited editions, ideal to enjoy in special moments. We do not produce alcoholic beverages in an industrial way for mass consumption.
We invite you to enjoy this exquisite Brandy, in moderation, slowly and accompanied by the music of REFREE.

SOUNDCASK CRAFT BRANDY – THE OTHER HALF – REFREE – ALBUM 07
2020-11-16 In our discontinuous copper still, we distilled 1000 liters of Oloroso wine at 18% vol. of alcohol, coming from the vatting of barrels destined to Whisky. The result was 205 liters of Brandy holandas at 59% vol.
We prepared a barrel of 225 liters, which previously contained red wine, to which we opened a bottom and burned its interior very intensely, reminiscent of American Bourbon barrels.
Before filling, we have attached to an external bottom, a specific speaker for bass sounds, which will make the wood vibrate with the chosen music.
2020-11-25 We fill the barrel and it starts to vibrate with the music of the album “La otra mitad” by Refree, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
2021-11-14 We empty the barrel and proceed to smoke it with pine cone charcoal smoke and fill it again.
2024-05-01 We refine the Brandy by changing the barrel to another one that previously contained Sherry Cream wine, for 2 months.
2024-07-01 We racked the Brandy and adjusted the alcohol content with demineralized water to 44.4% vol.
2024-08-01 We bottled and the final result, after 44 months, is 256 70cl bottles.
Refree’ s music has vibrated the wood of the barrel for 1,700 hours during the 44 months it has been maturing.
