Oxygenation and maceration of American oak shavings from old staves and pine cone charcoal. Distillation in a copper pot still of rice mash at 15% vol. resulting in a 61% vol. spirit which we have forced to age for 11 days by direct light. The liquid is then racked into previously smoked ex-manzanilla American oak barrels, acquiring a completely natural, lightly smoky touch.
It is matured with music by ZENNYO, the album “Ryūō” (2021), for 7 months.
